"It's fallen over again!"
This is a familiar cry in the office at the moment. We have a shitty application and no one can fix it. What is to be done. The 'client' is on the edge of making an official complaint but we cannot be to blame can we?
Oh no we, aren't to blame in the least.
So far, we have upped the memory, upped the CPUs modified the database, looked at the hardware, climbed up our backsides and still the bloody thing won't work. Of course the real problem is that the application is dreadful but no one is going to admit to that.
What to do now? We all know that they need to sort out their problems but that won't happen will it. No onto that next reboot and it must be our fault - right!?
